Walk In The Rain

Hand in hand,
Arm in arm,
Fingers locked tight,
Leaning one on one
They walk in the rain.

Cats and dogs
The rain pours.
Less cared about
The heavy rain
They seem as they tread.

Drops of rain
Roll down the faces.
His hand reaches
For her cheeks
To wipe out the rain.

They seem blind
To people around
As they play
And walk gaily
In the lovely rain.

They smile broad
Contended they look
As she sighs
And kisses him;
“I’ve longed for this.”

The End

I really didn’t the thing to end up so abruptly but it took the twist. This was the last thing I wanted to occur. I was too far in being optimistic; never thought such mishaps would hit upon it.
I, actually never had felt for someone as I did for her. It was and is a profound and sincere feeling. For the second time in my but a short chapter of life learnt to love someone after I met her. She taught me what love is all about anew.
I did love her, yeah I did very much. I decided in being for her the whole life to come. I just wanted her and only her. But the things didn’t turn the way I dreamt. The dreams just got shattered.
Yeah, she just left me but for good. That is the end , the end I didn’t want……

The Appointment

The Appointment

The message tone beeps
From his four year old cell phone.
Who could that be?
A prank message from friends?
But, from an unseen love.

For years he knew her
Albeit never met her once.
Thanks to the technologies
That brought them close,
Much to their surprise.

At “The Lovers’ Point;
A  rendezvous for lovers.
They agree to meet,
Their ever first date
That they longed for years.

He, in perfect fits,
Walks in the green lawn.
Seats on the bench,
And waits for long
But she is an hour late.

Thousands sunsets and sunrises
Though passed over the years
But he still waits patiently
                                                                   For his love to come…

My Precious Gift

He is so sweet, my precious gift Rigdhen,
At times though, he really is bit naughty,
But his flaws, he never fails to explain.

Can’t imagine his state in any pain,
Would shed thousands of tears out of pity,
He is so sweet, my precious gift Rigdhen.

He may have broken the nip of a pen,
Or played in the sand and made his clothes dirty,
But his flaws, he never fails to explain.

Dreams he has, to be like other good men,
Though a kid but talks like men of thirty,
He is so sweet, my precious gift Rigdhen.

In frantic he chases the neighbour’s hen,
Lifts up and peers into the aunt’s nightie,
But his flaws, he never fails to explain.

Let not my solemn prayers die in pain;
“Be happy and good for eternity.”
He is so sweet, my precious gift Rigdhen,
But his flaws, he never fails to explain.

My Departed Love

My Departed Love

She lies on the bed but still;
her body stiff and frozen,
she looks wishy-washy and pale,
for, her blood, fully worn out.
She is gone!

My love turns deaf to my cries;
“Wake up from thy sleep my love,
thy son needs to be fed and washed,
the room needs to be mopped.
Wake up Love!”

I stand by her side sobbing,
Rigdhen, my son, in my arms.
Dad and mom laments over the loss.
They are all here for her, but,
she is dead!

I miss thy love, care and smiles.
Our son feels thy absence;
thy caring and loving hugs.
My life but, is meaningless
without you.
“To whom shall I call thy name?
What should I tell if he asks?
What should the rightful answer be?
What’s left for me to live with?
Tell me dear.”

She had been my life and love.
Caring, loving, and the ever best
mom to my precious gift; my son.
Faithfully she was all mine;
my late wife.

Thou left me but, with a son;
the treasure I will cherish.
Albeit out of sight you would be
the memories shall always
 be with me.

My last prayers for thy soul;
“Should thou be given a life,
come back to thy love and son.
With longing hearts and much tears
here we wait.”
